We are now recruiting for the following positions:  

Head Chef:

Having had a very successful 4 years  since we opened our doors, we are seeking a Head Chef who can lead our small kitchen team and support us in the next exciting chapter of our business .


Our aims are simple …. To continue to develop our existing team both back and front of house, and to have a Head Chef who can bring their passion and experience to assist us moving forward.


Lock & Quay is with where Gastro meets Fine Dining with the flexibility of Modern British Brasserie, Mediterranean and Tapas  Menus.


We are seeking  ..

 ·        A Head Chef who has proven experience in quality driven venues

·        Flexibility to working hours, some straight and some split shifts

·        Applicants with past experience to train, manage and nurture the team

·        Excellent communication and organization skills 

·        Ability to cost and compile menus on a seasonal basis and knowledge of seasonal produce. Also daily specials and function menus.

·        A leader who adheres to strict Hygiene Control throughout the kitchen.

·        Applicants that have knowledge of compterised food ordering and control waste management.

General Kitchen Assistant/ Kitchen porter 

Duties include on a daily basis: Assist our chefs with light food preperations. Unloading and put away deliveries, organising store rooms. Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible. Collect and wash pots and pans, clean food preperation areas and equipment, in addition of crockery and cutlery.
